Young Professionals Group: How to Present Oneself

Monday, Sep 12, 2016

For GABC members between the ages of 20 and 35 at the beginning of their careers. This new Young Professionals Group provides a network to share your experiences of working, doing research, and studying in the U.S. and Germany with other young professionals, while also exploring new opportunities through our extensive network of seasoned professionals.  Uncertain of your future?  Looking for some guidance, resources, or an understanding ear? Want to attend events with access to senior executives in your field?  Want to post your CV on our website, and hear about job openings through the grapevine before others do? Want to talk to successful professionals who have gone before you, to see what career path they took?  Or share tips with your peers? Then join us!

How to Present Oneself —  for YPs who ask “How do I conduct a productive job search?  How do I use social media to create a brand for myself?  What are the skills needed for interviewing in the US?” — we arranged presentations from representatives of human resource departments and recruiting firms.   Co-organized with Goethe-Institut Boston.
