Jean-Francois Mauger is Research and Development Director with Netzsch Instruments North America LLC, a german based company developing and manufacturing scientific instruments for laboratories. Jean-Francois administers all functions for the R&D unit within the North America division and manages a team of talented engineers responsible for the identification, development, implementation, and successful transitioning of new products and related process from R & D to manufacturing.
Prior to Netzsch Instruments, Jean-Francois worked for Setaram Instrumentation in France, another scientific instrumentation company where he held few different positions including R&D engineer, project manager and Quality manager directing the development, implementation and coordination of the firmwide Quality Management System.
Jean-Francois holds a master degree in Mechanical engineering with a specialization in FEA from University Grenoble Alpes in France.
