Account Manager, Airline Sales ( Greater Boston area)

Responsibilities:

  • Achieve profitable sales revenue to an agreed target for a portfolio of agencies and increase market share for airberlin.
  • Work closely with the US sales team to promote the airberlin brand, provide market intelligence and propose strategic and tactical initiatives to grow designated accounts within the assigned geographic territory (Greater Boston).

Qualifications & Experience:

  • University degree or equivalent with 3+ years of experience in the Sales within the Airline industry
  • Strong planning, presentation, communication and interpersonal skills
  • Good analytical skills to make positive use of available data
  • Prior experience with TMCs, Tour Operators and Specialty accounts is essential for this position.
  • Capacity to work around problems
  • Good PC skills including Word, Excel and Power Point
  • Knowledge of Airline Reservations System and Salesforce a plus
  • Ability to negotiate and influence effectively
  • Good written and verbal skills in English
  • This position is home based and you must be authorized to live/work in the United States.
