26th Annual International Business Forum & Networking Evening (GBANE 2019)

As a member of Global Business Alliance of New England (GBANE),  GABC was again a partner in the 26th Annual International Business Forum and Networking Night, this premier international event of the year whichattracted more than 175 attendees and companies and associations from New England with international business interests and ties.

They heard about global risks, trade policy changes, the impact of the impending Brexit (or not?) on the markets followed by a panel discussion featuring the economic, legal, financial perspectives as well as the perspective from the ground, including from Frank Pfeiffer, CEO at SEMIKRON Inc., a German manufacturer of power modules, who was one of the panelists. 

Under the title “Managing Global Risk in a Changing Environment” this year’s Forum topics covered:

  • Global trade policy changes and tariff increases
  • The ripple effects of political issues across the globe
  • The impact of Brexit on global markets
