Wine Tasting with Anchor & Hope
For many of you, this may sound like a familiar concept: shipping product from Germany to the U.S., customizing and packaging it for the local market and then selling it! Doing this with wine, however, is less common:

We are deligthed to offer you a wine tasting with a terrific start-up wine company out of Rumford, Rhode Island, called Anchor & Hope:

Anchor & Hope is a modern négociant style winery (translated from French: a négociant is a wine merchant who assembles the produce of smaller growers and winemakers and sells the result under its own name) founded by California native (with German roots) and traveling winemaker, James Davids and Massachusetts born and raised, Marissa Stashenko. They collaborate with small family farms in Germany to make incredible wines focussing  on wine regions that are up-and-coming and producing great fruit. The wines ship to them after harvest from the growers, and they care for, age and package them at the winery in Rhode Island. Their mission is to bring high quality, estate grown wines to the Northeast US market in a sustainable way, and at an affordable price.
