GABC reveled in a gorgeous seasonal celebration with our German-American friends and business colleagues. Held in the beautiful, candlelit ballroom of the InterContinental Hotel, a landmark luxury hotel overlooking Boston’s historic waterfront, guests indulged in a full course dinner featuring smoked fish, Duck Confit and Sauerbraten, followed by a dessert buffet provided by Konditor Meister. The evening included live music and dancing, valuable raffle prizes, and bidding on auction items. The German Embassy’s Minister of Economics Peter Fischer provided opening remarks. In attendance were representatives from the German Consulate General Boston, the German-American Chamber of Commerce New York, and the GABC Board of Directors, and many other notables in the greater German-American community. This was GABC’s major fundraiser, and one of the most enjoyable events of the year!
