Since October 2019 I have worked as an electrical engineer at National Grid at the Sandy Pond HVDC 2000 MW interconnection. I have been studying German since 2007 and graduated with a minor in the language from Johns Hopkins University in 2011. In 2010 I had an internship in Cologne Germany with a solar power firm where I investigated the possibility of expansion into the American and French PV markets. I am considering working and living in Germany one day and am interested in firms in the technology and science sector. I view membership with GABC as a great opportunity to meet and network with other GABC members. I'm interested in attending social gatherings and other events.
