Alan Pampanin founded Pampanin Law Offices in 1985. The business was dedicated entirely to all aspects of immigration law. Mr. Pampanin has been an active member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA) since 1986. He served as Chairman of the New England Chapter in 1994-95 and since then has chaired numerous AILA committees and served as AILA Liaison to the CIS, the Department of Labor, and to the New England Congressional Delegation. He was the Editor of Massachusetts Continuing Legal Education’s (MCLE) two volume Immigration Practice Manual. Since 1998 he has focused on family and business immigration covering E-1, E-2, E-3, H-1B, L-1A and B, J-1, O-1, TN, Advice regarding F-1, OPT/EAD and I-9 processes; the immigrant processes of PERM, EB1A, B and C, EB2, EB3, EB5 Investment Visas, as well as Visa issuance and consular processing matters.
Alan graduated from the University of California at Berkeley with a degree in English Literature. He earned the Juris Doctor Degree from Hastings Law School in San Francisco. Alan is a member of the Massachusetts Bar Association. Mr. Pampanin holds the pre-eminent AV rating from Martindale-Hubbell, has been listed in The Best Lawyers of America publication for 15 years and is also a Massachusetts Super Lawyer. He has been honored for his pro-bono work by the Irish International Immigrant Center and by the PAIR Project which conferred Alan its Outstanding Service Award in June 2019.
