We offer a limited number of internships at GISB for those studying to become kindergarten through high school teachers. Candidates must speak German and English. If you are studying to become a kindergarten (age 5-6), elementary (age 6-10), middle (age 10- 15) or high school (age 15-18) teacher please read the information below. If you are studying to become a preschool teacher (age 3-5) we currently cannot offer any internship opportunities. We welcome applications from candidates who are interested in working at our school for a period of three to six months. Applicants should have a good knowledge of German and English. Prior work or school experience in the US is a big asset. You are required to have completed at least four semesters of education towards becoming a teacher in order to apply. There is no compensation for interns, but we will take care of the VISA fees that might occur.
