We are seeking ​Part-Time and Full-Time Preschool and Kindergarten Teachers ​to start  August 2019

Our regular and after school programming provide a complementary and fulfilling day at our Lower Campus. Teachers will offer a range of enrichment opportunities, adventure, and fun  to our preschool and kindergarten students. Responsibilities include planning and leading lessons  and activities in areas such as arts & crafts, cooking, math and science, and guiding students in their  development of interpersonal and meta-cognitive skills in a fun, respectful and safe environment.

Teachers in the after school program work Monday through Friday from 2:00 to 5:00 pm or 6:00  pm, and full 5-day weeks during vacation camps in October, April, and July. We have both 15-hour  (salaried) positions and 20-hour (salaried and benefits-eligible) positions open. Our full-time faculty  are benefits-eligible and work Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 4:00pm.

The ideal candidate possesses:

• Experience teaching young children in the classroom and an enthusiasm for learning;
• Excellent German and English language skills; native German-speaking ability preferred;
• A B.A. in Early Childhood or Elementary Education;
• Resilience, flexibility, curiosity, and a positive attitude;
• Ability to connect with people from diverse backgrounds; and
• Initiative, independence, and the desire to contribute to a team.
