Oktober(fest) Virtual Stammtisch

The monthly GABC Stammtisch Goes Zoom, Again!

Join the virtual Stammtisch on Tuesday, October 6th at 7PM

If you have participated in any of the previous virtual Stammtisches, you know that we like to have a theme or icebreaker. Well, it’s Oktoberfest time so it’s a natural to bring that to the (virtual) table. Here is the icebreaker: At our next Stammtisch, be prepared to introduce yourself and your favorite (Oktober) Drink. Indeed, that could be one of the famous German beers enjoyed during this time of year in Munich, but maybe you don’t drink beer, and it could be a sour Apple Cider Mojito or a spicy Pumpkin Infused Chai Latte! Or maybe just a cup of hot tea. Of course, we love to see you in traditional Oktoberfest outfit when you are on the screen, but this is all not a must.

The Stammtisch is hosted by the YPs, and everyone is welcome.  This virtual gettogether is usually an hour long.

Register via the Link below and you will receive a confirmation email with the Zoom link prior to the Stammtisch.

When: Tuesday, October 6th at 7PM

Platform: Zoom Meeting

Please also check your Spamfolder if you don’t see the Email with the Zoom link the day of the Stammtisch.

Who is the Stammtisch for?
The Stammtisch is conceived and hosted by the GABC Young Professionals. It is open to everyone: GABC members and non-members, Young Professionals and newcomers to New England or to the GABC and who share a common interest in Germany. Join us!

What is the “regular” Stammtisch about?

This informal get-together organized by the GABC Young Professionals group aims to connect professionals new to the Boston/Cambridge area with the local GABC network – and we introduce you to a different bar or restaurant every month. Join us every first Tuesday evening of the month – we announce the location via the GABC Web site and mailing list. (Sign up here for the general GABC mailing list, and send a note to yp@gabc-boston.org if you would like to be specifically on the YP distribution list). It helps if you RSVP, so we know how many to expect.
